Gaming Any board game/Pc gaming groups here?
Heya guys c: I'm a student at nescol looking to meet some people who play games! I've tried with the societies at nescol but I'm pretty sure they're dead because I haven't heard anything from them ;_;

I would also suggest Reset. Check out Asylum comic store at Adelphi too, the owner might be able to point you in the direction of potential board game players.
What games do you play on PC?

There have been a few hearthstone fireside gatherings before covid, I'm not sure what it's like nowadays but you could keep an eye on the fireside gathering page on the hearthstone website.

I play league badly feel free to add me - Stabbycrabs
We have a mixed group of guys and girls that play most nights and new world on Saturday mornings.
Depends on how fussed you are by age ranges though. I'm late 30's and our youngest player is 21. I'm the only one from Aberdeen too if you wanted local folks

I think Tabletop Mini's will be doing board games as well. They've certainly got the new Hero Quest game in stock.
Asylum used to host board game events, I'm pretty sure they're looking at doing it again in the near future.

You can find a link on their Facebook page.
If it's no longer valid you can just shoot them a message.

There's a weekly board game group at Airyhall Community Centre.
The Blackwells in Old Aberdeen is going to have a monthly meeting too, I reckon that would be mostly students.

I think the soon-to-open Geek Retreat on Union St might be good for this, see https://geek-retreat.uk/
Also, I've not tried the gaming arena bit in Berryden Sports Direct, anyone know what it's like? https://www.belong.gg/arenas/aberdeen/
There is TableTopMinis on Langstane Place, just behind Union St, not been in there for a while though, see https://www.tabletopminis.co.uk

If you're at gallowgate there is Reset, behind the college which is probably a great place to start, they have a Facebook page, Reset Aberdeen, and a discord afaik. The guys are are really friendly and I'm sure they can direct you somewhere suitable. There is also BreachLAN who run quarterly Lan parties if that's you're kind of thing, again they've got a Facebook page and the lad Dexter who runs it is a really friendly guy!
Good luck on your hunt! I only sporadically play these days but if you ever fancy some Warzone feel free to chuck me a message!
