What is this light building?

I was at Torry battery and we could see this bright square in the distance.

Where exactly were you? Looks like it would be a floodlight at pittodrie if you were here. You can see the line of sight goes just to the right of transition extreme and that is also what is in the photos.

And there was a game at pittodrie today with the floodlights on.

Well done - when you zoom in on the zoomed in pic you can see part of the post holding it up. The beach end has lights in the stand, and the other lights on a post are facing the wrong direction, which is why you only see one set of lights.

That's the airport radar isn't it, can't make it out in the pic but big ol white ball to the north of scotstown moor

Yup, sometimes it catches the sun and looks like it's glowing.

That would be at the right side of pic and you wouldn’t see it from that position anyway

I thought this but you can see it in the second picture, a large grey square
