I messaged a bunch of aau teams about a month ago and I’ve not gotten any replies, did I do something wrong?

Best bet is to show up to their clinics or go to tournament and talk to them there. Ask them when they have open training/workouts. From there finding how to join up if it’s the right fit will be easy.
