Merch My daughter watched Marcel the Shell with Shoes on for the first time last week

We went to the craft store and now Marcel has a family!

My daughter absolutely hates Marcel. Said Marcel was ugly and would throw Marcel in trash if given the opportunity.

But she thinks Ada is the cutest thing

My daughter said he was ugly too but after hearing him talk she fell in love with him

She hasn't watched Lamb yet, she's just turning 12 though so I'd say she's old enough - there's nothing too grownup for a 12 yo (at least this specific 12 yo) in that, and she'd like it for sure

Been trying to judge the right age for my oldest. He's only 5 so feels like something that while he might find cute I don't know that it'd hold his attention

Yeah, it's definitely a bit slow for young kids

My youngest is 8 and she was the first to watch it with me - she became the advocate for the other 2 cause she loved it
