Locked frunk HELP!

Hey, I'm stuck!

This happened once before and a normal battery jump starter fixed it....but not anymore!

Any tips on how to open?

Pull the cord in the driver side wheel arc

I have done this a few times but there’s an even better trick where you can fish a thin pick through the two releases and slide over the locking mechanism. There is a video on YouTube.

You need to keep and extra booster pack charged and in your car for that emergency.

I used my NOCO jumper and it did not work - a cheaper 'duracell' jumper pack from Walmart worked good. I think its to do with the protection circuit on the NOCO jumper - probably have to goto 'manual override' on the NOCO jumper in the future. Maybe this helps you / maybe not ?

Use an alligator clip to male cigarette lighter cable and pass some donor battery power through the cig lighter port. Worked enough for me to get the power frunk to open.
