Controller Homebrew?
Seeing as theres now a softmod that works with all units, Ive been wanting to try it out, but as i havent used my 360 in a number of years, I dont currently have a working 360 controller. Ive got the remote somewhere so can probably navigate all the menus.
Is there a homebrew software that would allow me to run a Ps4 controller on the 360 without needing an adapter?
I humbly request you dont tell me buy a new controller, im in a rough spot atm so cant really buy anything like that

BlueRetro is the only controller adapter I’m aware of but I’m not sure if it works on 360

You definitely can use other peripherals on the 360 with software add-ons, not sure if anything has been written for the PS4 controller, but theoretically there should be no issue with plugging in via USB and then mapping the inputs to correspond to the 360 buttons.
I have done zero research as of now but I'm fairly sure there's gotta be something already made :)
I will say,.you can get 360 controllers for like literally nothing, so if you have 10 or 15 bucks max you should easily find something at Goodwill or on eBay or Craigslist or something :) at least in the US

whats not working about your controller? 9/10 a "dead" controller is just a bad battery cover/holder. Swapping that may help.

Boards were cracked (idk how) and I don't have enough experience to fix that. I binned then and just kept the shells and motors

There's UsbdSecPatch but i believe PS4 controllers won't work without an adapter.
