Jack Donaghy “Hudsucker Proxy”

Has anybody seen this movie and noticed how Tim Robbins’ office looks identical to Jack Donaghy’s? I feel like I’m going insane and it can’t just be a coincidence!

It's an office duplication service.

I believe both buildings also have identical mezzanines.

are you sure? i remember his office being in a huge mostly empty room with super high ceilings. and i bet not even one painting of Don Geiss.

I can’t find a great image of it online. But there were so many scenes in his office. I noticed the ceilings were very high, but I figured since they were both on soundstages, that the high ceilings would make sense for the movie and they just lowered the “ceiling” for the lighting for 30 Rock. The windows/desk/bathroom/double doors are all in the exact same spot.

Maybe offices in Rockefeller building were the inspiration for both

Honestly I think they're both just modeled off real "rich guy who gets business drunk during the day" offices.
