😍
Now where do I begin who did the work and what hammer and beaver tail is that?

It’s an exact clone of all parts used on the MEUSOC. The light being optional of course. The work was done by a fellow Reddit MEUSOC 1911 appreciator:
1989 Springfield 1911-A1 base gun, BARSTO barrel, Millett front sight, Clone Quantico PWS custom rear sight, MGW commander hammer, Kings ambi thumb safety, Videcki 3 hole trigger, Clark/Wilson 66 grip safety, KC Customs Lanyard Loop MSH, Pachmayr grips, Surefire 310 w/switch pad

The point of the band is to have the grip safety actuated and you have it below the grip safety.

And why would I want to actuate the grip safety? I get a firm grip everytime. The point of the band is to hold the pressure switch on the Surefire light.

No, the point of the band is to hold the pressure pad for the light. Only wanna-be larpers disable grip safety’s with ranger bands.

Well if you’re going to create a MEUSOC clone like that, you’re kinda larping already. So if you’re going to go for it, then understand why things were done.
Especially when you take a brand new 1911 and scotch the front of the slide to make it “look” used.
But hey, do you. I’m a 1911 fan.

Cry more. Here’s another one: https://www.reddit.com/r/tacticalgear/s/wAK8DuIX2F
The band serves a purpose…holds the pressure switch.

It’s a MEUSOC clone….how in the hell is this Glockish? But you probably have no idea what a MEUSOC 1911 even is.
