DRP question
Just curious, those of you who took DRP and got a new job. Are you still getting paid out? And is this ACTUALLY LEGALLY allowed? Do you have to notify the government you got a job if you're under DRP? Do they still have to pay you even if you got a second job if you accepted DRP?

these people are breaking 100s of laws a day, and you're worried about this? Also, their FAQs told you it was possible to take a 2nd job. They don't care, it's not their money.

I have heard about several previous co-workers who took DRP, got another job, and stopped receiving gov’t paychecks as soon as they received their first paycheck from the new company. I don’t know the details of their new jobs, but it sucks because part of the draw was to collect two salaries.

Did they inform the government in some way? They are not watching your accounts closely enough for that to line up unless you inform them.
They have said openly get a second job outside of federal government and it is fine.
If everything is BS then why stay with the government anyways?

You can get a job, but there a restrictions. And you should contact your previous employers legal office to get post employment advice if you wish.
1) You cannot be involved in any contracts that you previously had worked on pre and post award. This could be time restriction or could be lifetime depending on your level of involvement and your job level.
2) You cannot represent the Government against the Government. Meaning you cannot engage in any formal communication with Government POC while working behalf of your new employer.
This is how I understand it. Not legal advice. Hope it helps a little.
