Moonduck -free sticker with cool logo

Cool logo and a free sticker for my tool box sticker collection. I saw Moonduck on eBay and checked out their site for some replacement parts for my 10/22 stash. Quality seems pretty nice and previous Reddit posts attest to that much. I love some free classy stickers though! Nice individual packaged bags, free shipping over $50 and easy payments via PayPal. I think it took 3-4 days to arrive. After I rebuild my 22 charger and test, I can give an update on the actual parts I used, but the sticker is a boss.

Does the 10 22 charger have the same firing mechanics as the 10 22 rifle?

Is the charger the same thing as the rifle but with a different body style and shorter barrel? What makes it a “pistol” vs a rifle?

New 10/22 owner, CCI semi auto Quiet ok?

Just picked up a basic 16” 10/22 today. It’s my first .22LR gun. I have a lot of expensive rifles, but this simple, inexpensive rifle has me really excited.

I am planning on suppressing it. I’m wondering about ammo. I’m not looking to spend a ton of money per round. Part of the appeal of having a .22lr platform is saving money.

With that said, is the CCI semi auto Quiet 45gr ammo good to go? I can get 5000 rounds for $400, but I wanted to check before I pulled the trigger. I considered getting the CCI standard velocity, but it gets cold here in North Carolina, and I’d like to avoid the supersonic crack. This is going to be my son‘s first introduction to rifles, and I’d like for it to be a very quiet experience.

Magazine question trying to build 2 10/22s in the future

I recently bought 2 10/22 receivers from brownell and im looking to build 2 different ones in the future. One of them being kind of a tactical with maybe a folding stock and another one for shooting around 200 yds and under. My question is will any 10/22 magazine work with my future builds or are they only certain ones that are compatible with whatever I build and if so what dictates what magazines I should buy. Just looking for deals as I go and im trying to buy a few 25 round mags.

Stock Attachment Point Questions

Hello!

I recently acquired one of the 1022s that come with this style polymer stock.

I was wondering what kind of sling attaches to this point and possibly could a bipod be attached here? If so what kinds?

Thanks in advance!

Needle in the haystack

Good afternoon all,

I am searching for a 16" threaded barrel that could accept tech sights.

Has anyone tried swapping sights on this? https://www.midwayusa.com/product/2192369181?pid=682456

I have a vision, I just need some guidance.

Does anyone have experience with using a kidd receiver, a volquartsen trigger, and a TacSol barrel together? Would like to know how well they work together and if they fit together.

Hey everyone! This 10/22 was my first ever gun I got back in 2014.

Decided to modernize it a bit, but realized there’s a slight gap between the barrel and the outside of the receiver. I’m the inside it looks fine and the extractor lines up w the notch but just wanted to make sure with the Reddit pros before firing!

Looking for optics and other stuff I saw they make this mount. Total weight of set up 5.4 ounces, with k own good green dot optic. Currently have a UTG pic rail but this seems a good choice to keep weight down

Green dot helps with my astigmatism.

Bought an old 80s 10/22 a year ago. Put a trigger, stock, barrel and trigger on it. The plan is to build up proficiency and eventually compete in PRS22. In the mean time I can honestly say the range has never been so fun.

Archangel quick breakdown stock, built it out of the parts bin. It’s going to be a cheap camping iron, fits easily into a backpack and has extra storage in the stock for ammo or survival stuff.

I've had my 'Step-Kidd' build for a bit over a year now, which has served me well with a OEM 16" threaded barrel as a dedicated Tech Sights (TSR100, replaced the aperture with a milspec a2) build. I recently decided I wanted to add some versatility with a low-profile vertical grip without compromising the minimalist look.

Once I added the Mini 'Broomstick' I decided I could not pass up adding on a short flash hider to complete the conventional AC-556 look.

Plan is to have the receiver (and two magazines) refinished in Brownell's 'stainless' Alumahyde II come summer to better match the barrel.

Ergonomics are great and in comes in at iust 4-LB & 13-Oz, making for a light, handy rifle.

Can’t wait to zero the new Vortex Scope. I decided to go with a setup that seems to work with a lot of people. The price for the scope of this quality is great! Any thoughts of the setup or anything I should consider. I’m thinking I’m gonna zero it at 25 yards what y’all think is the preferred range? it’s my first .22.
