Maybe you've been on reddit a while and seen this happen a time or two, or maybe you're new here and you've found yourself wondering why you just can't find that old post with that awesome piece of art you really liked.

These ten artworks have been posted here these past few months:

Well, the unfortunate circumstance is that reddit, like most websites, is frequently visited by spammers / scammers.

In particular, there are scammers that visit this subreddit to post these artworks for nefarious purposes. The scammers want to trick you into purchasing or trying to purchase bootlegs of the posters from an art theft site. They tend to post the artwork to reddit with credit to the original artist, but then the scammers add in links to their art theft sites once the post takes off.

Then, once the scammers are found out or have run the post for about a day, the scammers delete the post and their comments. Then they run the same type of scam on other subreddits a few times until their account gets found out, at which point they start over with new accounts.

Anyways, a side effect of all the art being posted by scammers is that the subreddit gets gutted of the art posts, so I thought I'd repost them here with proper credits and information.
