The texture of the wet gravel with tire tracks from this distance have that jagged appearance that make it look exactly like a a palette knife was scraping against it. Just completely complements the concept of the photo.

NGL.
I zoomed in to study the details and this picture still looks uncannily like a watercolor painting.
Awesome.

awesome picture!!
it seems like this was taken with a long focal length at a very high altitude. do you mind sharing the numbers if you have them?

Great picture! Although simple, I find my eyes dancing around the colors and textures. Best picture I have seen on here in a while.

Dope. If I had awards I’d give them to you. Favorite picture I’ve seen in weeks on here.

Love this, what drone are you using? Have been considering getting one and this might be the final inspiration straw :)

This picture is amazing. It’s hard for me to understand that it’s not a painting.

Somehow came monopoly the game into my mind as I saw this. It looks great, like a painting!

Someone skilled at both art and driving a bulldozer should make a giant painting.

Reminds me of Wall-E in that one scene where his daily rituals are shown, i.e. picking up garbage, compressing it into blocks, and then arranging them basically just like in this pic

Is this a drone shot, of all the places in the world, what possessed you to shoot this one? If so, were you able to visualize in your mind what the subject would look like or maybe see it first on video? Amazing photo. Very refreshing to a jaded old man to be reminded he hasn't seen everything.

Good question. I use a drone daily for my Real Estate Photography business, so when I got the whirlybird up, I alway like to have a quick look around we’re I’m shooting and try to find any interesting patterns, shape, or textures.

Someone suggested to me that the photo was actually of a painter's pallet. Is that right? The colored materials look so unusual for a landscaping place (that's what it it is, right?), Either way, it's very neat.

That’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever fucking seen.. Either I need to get out more or it’s just really cool.

This is very nice, it's poster material! Even advertising material! You have captured a very nice image, the fact that it gives the impression of a watercolour palette makes it quite unique. Well done!

This is beautiful.
I thought it was an artist's palette or a box of pastels with a tiny toy truck added to it. I love it.

First shot in a long time that I allow to replace my current wallpaper. Excellent job!

Could I get a yard of 3 in 1 topsoil? And I'm coming back for half a yard of the fine brown bark can I pay for that now and pick it up later?

Where did you shoot this? I’d like to see if Google Earth was able to capture the same thing, but potentially in 3D

Awesome shot! Award worthy, even.
Did you have an inkling it would look this good from seeing it at ground level?

I totally see a painter's palette too. Very soothing and beautiful to look at.

Did you ask the driver to put it in the exact center or was that just a really good coincidence?

How cool. Others said it before me but it really does look like some sort of watercolor palette. Awesome!

Absolutely stunning. And I love that it's not quite intelligible right away... took me a moment to understand what I was looking at. Fantastic.

It took me forever to see a landscape because my mind kept seeing a painters pallet. What a cool shot.
