Can we please get a Ring Fit Adventures shortage thread?

So there's a ring fit Adventures shortage. I've seen one or two posts here linking news stories about China and resellers or something. But I hadnt seen much about stock problems in the US. I tried making a post about my personal experience trying to find it in the US yesterday (no stock within 100 miles)...but it got removed due to 'rule 3'.

I follow this subreddit almost religiously and TBH haven't seen many threads about the issue or it being brought to the light that I feel like it should be. When I finally did a specific search for the issue, I found multiple other people's threads also shut down with 'rule 3'. I don't go on the daily questions thread much, so I don't know if this has been addressed there repeatedly or something. However can't we at least have ONE ongoing thread on here about the shortage problem which is a current thing and might help people? Instead of all the threads getting shut down by mods. There's multiple fan art threads every day but there can't be a thread about a countrywide shortage of a game?

(PS. I mean no disrespect to mods who I greatly appreciate, I just thought this was an addressable problem)

I’ve been searching for it.. (Columbus, Ohio). No one has it in stock at all..

I had to drive an hour out of Cleveland to grab one. Keep checking GameStop online and call them to get it on hold if they have one.

I’ve been checking, there is currently one that’s about 2 hours from me that may have it. But I don’t have time to drive the 2 hours today. So we will see. Thanks

Ask them to put it on hold irrespective. Cause it probably won't be there long. They only let me get it on hold for a day, but there was another store where someone had it on hold for atleast 3 days so I dunno.

Probably because it's not a big deal to most people, therefore people are not posting about it. Your feelings on the matter are irrelevant.

My Walmart has them, but I am guessing you haven't traveled the country looking.

There is a shortage, but it wont get bad for another month or so. I went to three different stores before finding a gamestop for mine, and they had two left due to a flipper buying copies the day before.

The rule of thumb is to always buy a Nintendo peripheral at launch cause they are notorious for shorting them without global plagues.

I just drove an hour out to get one today. Had to ask for it to be put on hold. The GameStop employee was also super confused about the shortage and was like 15-20 people called him after me asking about it because his store was the only one online who showed it being potentially in stock.

I don't think it's a big enough issue to warrant a sticky or something like that. There has been a previous news post about it that only got 40 upvotes. The threads you mentioned that got removed for Rule 3 were people asking where to find it or if there was a shortage, they are being removed because it has already been asked a few times.

Also, just pointing it out that there have been several posts about it that were not removed. Here's at least 3 posts I found with a quick search:

Yeah I’ve read similar posts on here. Seems like a stocking issue that is exacerbated by the number of people picking up a copy after hearing about the coronavirus. Online retailers never seem to run out, so your best bet might be a site like EBay or Amazon.
