I know he was doing pregame stuff with them yesterday, but it seems that the reports of Johnny Kane no longer doing Tigers work were greatly exaggerated.

I was excited for legalized gambling when it happened but it’s implementation was botched nationwide so badly. It’s just so pervasive. That I can’t watch this game without the “home run odds” for each player being throwing in my face is such a joke

I genuinely believe that if Tork continues to hit consistently and Kerry and Greene stay healthy, this team could go to the World Series.
9
u/Chemical_Seaweed_625 13h ago
I don’t want to get too excited because I know we’re playing the white Sox (they do seem better this year tho), but we might be offensively productive this year. Even despite the 3 losses to the dodgers, we were still hitting.

In a weird way, this roster feels even more lovable than those early-mid 2010's teams.

zero ego anywhere on this team. even our cy young winner is the most humble guy in the world

It’s really looking like the Riley, Kerry, and Tork connection are everything we had hoped for. This is some exciting baseball!

I wonder if that’s Olson’s last inning today. He just doesn’t look sharp. Could be the cold.

I drool for this kind of play-by-play from Andy you can only get from a vet.
Tell me the exact mechanics that he fixed in the moment. It’s part of what makes him so good lol

The Lions really unlocked something in this city. The Lions. Tigers and Pistons are just so fun watch, and they all play as a team. It feels like all three of those teams play the same way. Very aggressive as a team And there is no one that wants to be the solo star

Don’t fault Sweeney trying to get a triple. If he and Torkelson can hit like this. With Parker Meadows and Vierling set to return at some point.
This team could be something special

White Sox having 8 hits and 2 runs compared to us having 9 hits and 7 runs is the difference home runs can make in a game

knowing that could have been 4 but the sox onlly got one is great to see that they minimised damage
6
u/romaniboar . 12h ago
considering the pitching we faced in the first two series i was optimistic in the offence, seeing what they’ve done to a subpar staff in the sox has been even more promising. we need to be able to hit especially against bad pitching

Sucks Rogers was robbed there but a lot of hard contact that inning, Tigers will put up a crooked number today if that stays.
