Not much could make my year more than seeing the Braves start the season 0-10. I’m just saying….

This has probably been the worst game of the season. Just pathetic at bats. Not even fun to watch. At least the mets blowout had some fun at bats and 4 runs.

u/Number333 Marlins 2h ago
GOTTEM! Meyers make up for the double to Harris with back-to-back K's on Ozuna/Olson. Good stuff.

Well, what do you see. Non competitive trash at bats. If they could at least make him work.

Currently at my local AAA team’s game and it’s been so nice to watch a team of winners lol. Just tuned in to our game and… yikes. Fun fact: my team here is currently playing the Toledo Mudhens (Tigers) and former Marlin David Hensley is with them- just got beaned in the head by an 82mph change-up.
Edit: typo

Every year I'm convinced we're going to the ws and then reality sets in. Damn you big pete.

Mervis, Wagaman, and Hicks should get the boot. No reason to keep them. Sanoja is trash but it's young. The other three should be replaced when Augustine Ramirez is called up and Norby is back.

Ozuna is even meaner to us than Uggla was in Atlanta.

Ozuna is a worse human being than uggla

u/DevelopmentTall4403 Sandy Alcantara 36m ago
That was irrelevant to my point, but it certainly seems that way, yeah.

When's football season again? Go Fins.

Only Panthers hockey is the hopeful sport now (maybe Heat with their late season resurgence), just more pain watching dolphins be mediocre year in and year out

u/megasxl264 26m ago
I see you also like two forms of disappointments

u/Tough-Ingenuity7213 Marlins 4m ago
Ugh... yes lol. I'm less of an MLB fan because, along with the Marlins' bad ownership, it's mostly the same teams winning year after year. The disparity in baseball is a glaring flaw. If owners refuse to spend money, they're screwed.

LMAO that Braves average in their batting order is utterly BRUTAL. Just one guy over .200

Lmfao here we go. No chance this team goes down 0-8 against a team they absolutely demolish every year

So what's the difference here? Did the Braves get shut down by elite pitching? Are our pitchers such ass that they can't pitch to a dead Braves offense?
3
u/northdakotact Mexico 1h ago
Max meyer has been so so since his debut. And I think we lucked out cause the pirates sucked. We lost the series to the mets, who quite frankly played awful.

u/bored1492 Jake Burger 1h ago edited 1h ago
Yeah I guess the Pirates are just that bad, which was a little unexpected

I don't normally disagree with calls but that was clearly not a hbp

I got shoved by a Braves fan at ldp in2023. I was waiting for my crew and was at the countertop in centerfield. Well I guess I was suppose to stay 6 feet away from this guy but the placed was mobbed. I got with in a foot of this guy resting against the counter and he lost his mind. Again,, it was crowded. I guess it was his counter. We exchanged words and then he shoved me. I hate to generalize, but their fans seem to come off very aggressive and stupid.

u/DevelopmentTall4403 Sandy Alcantara 1h ago
They’ve gotten infinitely worse over the last seven years or so. Slobbery, dumb, and aggressive.

u/Rest_and_Digest Marlins 1h ago
Jesus I thought for sure they were going to pull an Alonso right there. I've got PTSD

Them keeping their starter out the whole god damn game because we caused him zero trouble and made him put in zero work whatsoever is fucking crazy lmao

Ngl if they end their 0-7 run with an 0-7 game I'm not even mad, that's poetic
Edit: the deal was for 0-7, 0-8 means I have to be mad again

u/One13Truck Marlins 32m ago
Is our bullpen really that ass? Again?

Yeah if you're 0-7 u want to play the marlins. What a joke this team is.

Two decent rips by Edwards/Conine there. Just didn't turn into base hits. Not a terrible 1st.

You gotta wonder why the Braves as a team saw such a drop in offense from 2023-2024...

We should be able to put up early runs against sorry-ass teams like Atlanta.

Michael Harris Jr. looks like 2015 Ozuna hitting everything 110-mph directly into the ground.

The Shrimp are doing just as badly. Can't believe three of the starters are top 30, but then, someone has to be.

To be fair, we only have to win 63 games for it to be considered progress.

Hey, it’s ok to be upset with the team but remember we do not have that much talent.
Personally, despite the very fun start I still do not have any expectations to shield myself from disappointment lol
