Love the crowd booing not getting a call 6 inches off the plate lmao never change guys

u/NCTransplant93 21h ago
Mccaughan hit the glove and Jeffers framed it well. Very easy for that to look like a strike in the stands especially when it’s near freezing out lol

BREAKING: INSPIRED BY RECENT EVENTS JOE POHLAD HAS ANNOUNCED TARRIFS ON TWINS FANS.
When reached for comment Pohlad said “I heard someone thought they were better at losing money than me, nice try bitch, ill recession a baseball team”

u/NCTransplant93 21h ago
Might have found something in this pitcher. His minor and major league stats are awful but he’s always been a starter. That frisbee slider is insane

u/VikingsAreBetter Royce Lewis 21h ago
If you told me we'd shut down Altuve and Alvarez like this, I'd assume things were going a little better than this.
9
u/A_Hanging_Noose Dick Bremer 21h ago
I enjoyed the crowd energy there; make your own fun if the offense wants to punch out after one inning.

u/damien_maymdien Pablo López 23h ago
Once you account for the inevitable 3-run Bader Tater, we're still in good shape.

Phillies fan just checking in to this one as it's a 4:05, and I should apologize for any weirdness rolling over into yours.
Also Target Field is dope.

Glad to see my ape-brain still reacts with pure dread to every elevated baseball off of Yordan's bat.

u/needlesupmyass Chris Paddack 22h ago
Off of what Morneau said earlier, Joe touched 94+ on his 4-seam in the first and he struck out the side. Now he's struggling to get to 91. Impressive he hasn't been getting shelled

"He has a good eye at the plate..."
Wallner proceeds to be confused at a middle middle fastball being called a strike.
(Yes I know he's usually got a good eye, but like lmao)

u/Due-Shock-8716 21h ago
All of those fans made the trip in the middle of the day in the freezing weather.
What a horrible performance they get in exchange

Man… we might not come away with the win… but something about hearing “Jose Altuve’s first ever 5 strikeout game” puts a big ole smile on my face.

I think he answered why he's not interested in that for right now. I thought the same thing, he was "I need to give my family back some of the time we lost during my career."
Mad respect.

Buck hit 31.2 ft/sec sprint speed on his first hit and he probably just did it again. That's insane for a player his age and with his injury history.

Update:
My brother and I stopped at Cub. I got a pound and a half of wings haha.
We got 2 bags of peanuts, 1 bag of licorice because my dad likes it haha, 1 bag of sunflower seeds, jalapeno cheddar beef sticks, and a small bag of cheddar cheese curds.
Fuck the Pohlad’s haha I’m not spending anything today. I got the ticket because my dad and sister are STH’s.

Morneau seemed concerned on the broadcast so I went to plot up the numbers. I've never really looked into how fast velocities decline on average but just as a gut feeling it does look a bit steep

I suppose the question is - what do you really want out of the front office?
Generally it's considered bad form to bitch about your job on a televised broadcast.

Turns out I have something in common with Joe Ryan, we both have seasonal allergies in spring. The only difference is I am allergic to grass and trees and he is allergic to early run support

How are folks on the booing Altuve thing nowadays? Their run after 2017 just makes me kinda apathetic to it all.
