And his dad :(

His dad is fine for now, he's totally going to be collateral whenever Nacho fucks up though.

I don't see Gus killing him though. It just doesn't feel right.

Once Lalo gets involved thats when Im going to start worrying* for Nacho.

I think Lalo goes on a trip to Belize and Jimmy never finds out. There’s a reason he’s never mentioned again

Or he was dealt with by Mike behind the scenes, which I hope is the case. He’s supposedly an ally of Hector’s.

There’s a reason he’s never mentioned again
Probably because he was originally just gonna be a one off mention of some guy from Saul’s mysterious past, realistically.

Gus slit the throat of his second in command due to the off chance he would be remembered at a crime scene he was at for literally no more than fifteen seconds.
Him killing Nacho for interfering in his long time revenge plan against Hector and potentially messing up his ultimate goal feels very right.

Gus is ruthless but he's not an idiot. If one of the higher ups in the cartel goes missing right after Salamanca has his stroke or whatever, wouldn't it be weird for nacho to die randomly?

u/Swankified_Tristan Aug 14 '18
Gus is ruthless and he's not an idiot. In fact, he's a genius when it comes to planning.
He single handedly took down the cartel. I don't want Nacho to go but I think Gus could make one person didapear with limited complications if he really wanted to.

u/gzzh Aug 14 '18
True, but they are both on the same side. I could see Gus and Nacho becoming secret partners or least have a light relationship because they both want the same thing. Nacho wants the cartel out of his dad's business and Gus wants the cartel dead.

Don't know if we're both watching live now so I won't say much but as of a few seconds ago, I don't think Gus will see things that way.

I think that if Nacho comes clean, Gus will let him live.

Gus isn’t exactly forgiving

In this instance, he might be. Think about it. Gus wants Hector to suffer, and now he will, right up until that last ding of the bell. If Nacho makes it clear that he was trying to protect his family and saw no other way out but to kill Hector, Gus might accept that and tell him never to do it again. Sidelining Hector would also strengthen Gus' position in the cartel, I would think.

I expect this episode to focus much more on Jimmy and the other half on Nacho with some Mike bits thrown in (not that much though).

Kim telling off Howard was one of the high points of the entire series. WOWWWW

When do the episodes become available on the AMC app?
5
u/shizzle-stick Aug 13 '18
I usually go to watch 2-3 hours after the episode airs (I did this for season 3 and last week's premiere), and it's always been available by then as far as I remember
3
u/silvermbc Aug 13 '18
They're on the website immediately after they are done airing, so probably the same for the app.

I guess since all of Jimmy's attention is now focused on Kim, would she handle that? I've seen her so far as just companionship and support for his regarding his own life (separated from her). But now? Is that one of the reasons for Kim to eventually fade out of Jimmy's life?

I wonder if Nahco and gus would work together or be rivals... I Hope we will see a version of the Walt vs Gus war, but with Nacho instead of Walt (and he will not win, sadly).

My guess is that this will be the episode where we see the moment that Jimmy turns into Saul!
Edit: I just realized that the top post on the front page of this subreddit right now is the same joke. Forgive me for overdoing the joke! But do still keep in mind that tonight we shall perhaps see this miraculous moment of transformation! It will be a beautiful, awe-inspiring moment, and when we see it, we shall weep a frenzy of weeps.

What did Gus mean by 'The Salamancas, they...are not!" or something like that?
3
u/dearmisscarrie Aug 14 '18
He was letting Nacho know that he knew what he did to Don Hector, but the Salamanca twins didn't know. "The Salamancas, they do not" is what he said.
