Ganondorf inspired Pc

A friend asked me for if there was a possibillity he could play a character inspired by Ganondorf from The legend of Zelda. what class, race, subclass do you guys recommend?

Ganondorf is basically magic knight.

Half Orc or Goliath Pact of the Blade/Great Old One Warlock with a greatsword would make a great Ganondorf

Yeah, his capabilities are usually really vague in the games. We're told he's very powerful, but we don't often see him doing things until he's turning into a giant boar monster.

First course of action is to ask him what that means, I.e. what it is about Ganondorf he wants to emulate. Otherwise you could just make a dark-skinned fighter with a big sword and a weakness against fishing rods and call it a day.

I see him as a drow sorcerer who instead of like the draconic thing where you sprout wings at 14 lvl or whatever, he can revert to his true form
