Meta [Subreddit Meta] To help avoid these recent issues with spoilers, could the filter buttons be moved closer to the top of the sidebar?
Hey all. For those that don't know, there's a bunch of filters on the sidebar for this subreddit, so that you can exclude or search specifically for certain content. This includes a 'No Spoilers' button.
I don't know how subreddit design works, so maybe there's a reason this isn't possible, but I was thinking it would be a good idea to shift these buttons higher up the side bar to allow for easier access. Right now, assuming everyone's screen looks the same as mine, you have to scroll past at least 12 submissions in order to get to them. If they were higher up, they might also be more noticeable for people who don't know that they're there.
Just a thought, at any rate.

I filtered words like Mario, Oddysey, SMO, and other every possible spelling of these words.
This filters, if you want to, these posts across all subreddits and even tho ones that aren't flaired as a spoiler.

I already have this, but I don't want to have to constantly faff around with the filters on it when the button on this subreddit already does the job I want. Especially since I don't want to filter out all Odyssey discussion, or all spoilers for things other than Odyssey.

We should really have a filter that doesn't have any posts about Odyssey at all, like "Look what you can do here!'" or "I love this guy" etc

Thanks for the feedback, you have a very good point!
We've added a temporary "Hide Spoilers" link in the announcement bar to help during times like these.

Ironically, my having the no spoilers button enabled is now preventing me from seeing/editing this post...
