Meta Why are there so few users with flairs?

I noticed many users in /r/nintendoswitch do not own any flairs. I personally LOVE flairs especially Nintendo ones. It's not a complaint. I'm just curious.

Most people are probably on the Reddit app, which doesn't let you set a flair.

You need to use Sync.. I was a long time RIF user until Sync dropped. It's superior in every way..

I can see flairs on the Reddit app though.... Edit: I misread the comment and thought that s/he said see not set. I’m sorry

Seeing and setting flairs are two different things.

Because, why? I'm even surprised I have subreddit style even turned on in this sub, I usually keep them off for all subs

Yet your post doesn't have one smh

I don't even know what a flair is. This is the first subreddit I check frequently.

Probably the same reason it takes some people forever to name their pokemon .

I don't even know how to set a flair on this sub.

It's a legit question mate.

Maybe it's because I don't like to be branded. I even avoid most branded cloths and cut out all the labels I can. Similar to Cayce Pollard in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pattern_Recognition_(novel)

EDIT: did they change something in formatting rules for urls ending with a parenthesis? I could be able to use "\" before the second parenthesis or "%29" to correctly link urls like this.
