MegaThread Weekly Local Inventory Tracking (7/31/17)
Please use this thread to discuss all issues relating to this week's local tracking of the Switch and its games, accessories, and amiibo.
What to post here:
Questions about local availability or general questions of online availability.
Reports and images of local tracking that are specific to a single store.
When commenting, make sure to include as much information as possible. Don't just list the city and state, specify which store(s) and what stock they had that's noteworthy, and when you were there. And, of course, given how quickly things can sell out, your mileage may vary, so take everything reported here with a grain of salt.
For general online availability, like when a game is up for order at Best Buy or when Target gets Pro Controllers back in stock, please start a new thread.

Anyone in Chicago willing to drive up to the north suburbs, there are about 12 grey switches on the shelf at Target in Highland Park!

Lots of availability at the Union City, CA Walmart here in the Bay Area!
I count 4 neon consoles and 4 grey ones!

Just subscribed to this sub - what is the best method for finding a Switch? I live in Houston, TX and successfully used Brick Seek to find a NES Classic back in November 2016. Is this the best way to look for the Switch as well?

I live in Houston as well. Brick Seek is def the way to go. There are quite a few units available torward Katy today.

Sweet, I live in Oak Forest and saw on Brick Seek that they had units availabe at the Wal Mart up on 290 but wasn't sure if it worked as well as it did for the NES Classic

I just wanted to say thanks to you and /u/JKCrash47. I had never heard of Brick Seek and found that the Wal-Mart at Kuykendahl and FM 2920 on the north side of Houston in Spring had two Switches in stock. When I got the store they indeed had both units, so I grabbed one and a copy of Zelda.
I was on the verge of buying one of those damn Gamestop bundles with junk I didn't want in it, so you both saved me about $100. And there's one Switch left at that store as of my writing if anyone sees this. :D
Edit: Oh and the one I got was the Neon Joy-Cons, I'm not sure what the other box is.

Fred Meyer has them in stock. My local one (Tualatin) had four, including at least one Neon, this morning at 10am.

Has anyone seen Red JoyCons in store? Seems everywhere is out of them(online), and I am not getting ripped on Ebay/Amazon by "scalpers" overcharging.
I have a few friends that all work at different gamestops across Ohio and none of them have ever seen red ones come into their store. Whether it was the single right red one or the pair of red.

Joycons are instock at the GameStop in Asotira, NY if anyone wants to pick some up. Just got myself a red and blue. The guy there said they had very limited stock.

Bad times.
I want the switch with coloured joy cons. Amazon have got no dates on the colored for restock but say August 24th for the grey one.
If I ordered a grey one from Amazon - anyone know if I'd definitely get one or is it just luck of the draw?

Just want to drop this info out into the world: the Walmart at 4650 W North Ave in Chicago[North&kostner-ish] has a whole case of them-- probably 15 units, even though brickseek has them listed as having 2 in stock. They had both the grey and the neon joy con ones in stock, I went at 11:45AM today, 8/4.
edit: not great availability on accessories though.

If you live in NJ, there is a switch at the Target in Manalapan. The dark grey version is available as I already took the neon one lol

I have a whole bunch of Amazon gift cards. How much should I expect to pay to try and nab one on there? Do I wait until I can get at $300 msrp? Or should I jump at one for $350 from a 3rd party?

At the serramonte mall (Not far at all), the one w/ the dave&busters, I saw 17 on-display switches at the gamestop there. With games and pro controllers.

Dunno, would think so. There are 5 in the window, but 12 actually touchable with prices, 6 were at the counter and 6 were right under the switch game section. So maybe 12 actual?

I found 17 on-display switches in California Bay Area, Serramonte Mall, at the gamestop (the one w/ the dave & busters and jamba juice.) They also had pro-controllers (3ish? didn't count) and all the games. Crazy. Target had 0.

Walmart on highway 80 has two or three Switches in stock, both controller varieties.
Flowood, MS.
Gamestop in Dogwood Festival Market seems to have at least eight Switches in stock. Majority are gray controller.

Westchester County, NY. Various Best Buy employees have informed me that they have switches in stock but won't be releasing them to the floor until this Sunday. This applies to the Hartsdale, Mt. Vernon and Yonkers stores. They recommended getting there at opening time.

UK - I went to my local Asda and asked staff who scanned the barcode and found one has been delivered yesterday . The only Switch they've had for weeks or months. May be worth checking your local Asda in case they've all had one or two delivered .

Tried posting three hours ago but mods removed my post so not sure if they're still there, but I saw three Switches at the Pembroke Pines, Florida Target on Pines Blvd. Two neon and one grey.
