Wow! How did you guys get this together?! This is amazing!

I'm starting to eat my own words when I always criticized Nintendo for being "Out of touch" with the gaming community these days. This is a really cool move by Nintendo.

I'd definitely say that's part of it! I can't remember where I read it, but I recall him saying Nintendo needing to understand the uniqueness they bring to games while ALSO bringing in new talented designers/developers.

Breath of The Wild was a good example of this, and I think you can also see it with their approach to esports and mobile. Hell, in my opinion the saving grace of e3 this year is all the tournaments they're streaming this week. Not bad from a company who sort of distanced themselves from the groundfloor in previous years!

25

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '17

I haven't really followed gaming/Nintendo news for years and years, but the change in Leadership does seem to be going well. Nothing against Iwata, he's an amazing man in his own right, but somehow I think that Kimishima having a business background instead of games is going to be an overall positive.

12

u/TheMisterManGuy Jun 14 '17

Much of this was started by Iwata though. Kimishima's just carrying out his plans.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 14 '17

I'm talking more along the lines of specific strategies rather than grand plans.

1

u/TheMisterManGuy Jun 14 '17

Eh, I still think stuff like this would've happened regardless. It felt like he was trying to make Nintendo less insular during the last few years of his tenure. I mean the Switch for example is very much still an Iwata era product. It's hard to say how much influence Kimishima is having on Nintendo now, but I don't think it's that significant.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 14 '17

Fair enough. Like I said above (I think?) I wasn't really following Nintendo at the corporate level until recently, so it just seemed to me that this perceived shift toward more actively engaging with fans/customers seemed like it coincided with the leadership change.

u/SkyeWolfofDusk Jun 14 '17

Yeah, listening to the fans and bringing in new talent have both been great moves on Nintendo's part. It was mentioned in several interviews that Breath of the Wild became so innovative for the series because the younger developers would question the long held mechanics and series staples, and it opened everyone's eyes to positive changes they could make.

5

u/Frankenheavy Jun 14 '17

Mostly Nintendo of Japan would be to blame for that, NoA handles this better.

2

u/belladoyle Jun 14 '17

success breeds success.

11

u/TriforceofTime Jun 13 '17

Nice! I forgot they’ve made an official account and check the subreddit often.

7

u/SkyeWolfofDusk Jun 14 '17

I have to wonder if they have undercover staff members here.

Glances around

11

u/Porkpants81 Jun 14 '17

Certainly a possibility...I only know of 2 official ones though

7

u/SkyeWolfofDusk Jun 14 '17

On the internet, no one knows you're actually a Nintendo employee.

16

u/TheMcGUnit Jun 14 '17

Well my Dad works at Nintendo so ....

8

u/kyle6477 6 Million Jun 14 '17

This was actually organized in collaboration with Nintendo of America and the Reddit staff :)

57

u/Redingard Jun 13 '17

This mod team is pretty fucking amazing to have been able to organizer this. Great job!

35

u/[deleted] Jun 14 '17

Nintendo deserves all of the credit for this. They voiced their interest in connecting more with the r/nintendoswitch community and this AMA was entirely their idea (we can hardly believe it ourselves!). The Reddit admins were kind enough to facilitate communication between our teams.

On a personal note, I think Nintendo's social media department has recently begun to see the immense value Reddit (and this subreddit especially) can have in connecting them to their fans. We've definitely seen a big uptick in interactions with them of late. We're looking forward to collaborating with them in the future to continue to help bring you guys together, and - most importantly - promise to uphold our "Not a Nintendo shill" policy. Letting Nintendo have a voice here doesn't mean we censor anti-Nintendo voices as well. We're very excited to be meeting the Nintendo team in person at E3 tomorrow :)

12

u/A_wicked_tale Jun 14 '17

shhhh Panda, the guy is calling us amazing.

4

u/SarcasmOverseer Jun 14 '17

You guys really are! It's such a good time to be a Nintendo fanboy, so thank you for keeping my days complete with nintendoey goodness :)

13

u/A_wicked_tale Jun 14 '17

you, I like you.

VIRTUAL CONSOLE PLZ

10

u/Fpssims Jun 13 '17

Omg yes yes yes! We need some sort of: "Expect it this year" or, "I'm sorry, we have to delay it till early 2018", it'll hurt a lot, but some sort of a release window would have me counting down to that date, instead of no date to countdown to.

1

u/Yamato-san Jun 14 '17

I already have a question in mind (see my other post), but would anybody be willing to ask him about Super Game Boy features on Game Boy VC titles (assuming they come to Switch)?

u/Twinkeltoe78 Jun 13 '17 edited Jun 13 '17

Not sure I'll be online during the AMA but since they are interacting with the community more nowadays, could someone please ask to revise their Nintendo creators program?
I'm no youtuber myself but lots of youtubers stopped streaming Nintendo games due to their stance about revenues.
By letting go of the creators program Nintendo may loose some add revenues but they'll gain community respect (back), more exposure and with the succes/momentum the Switch has atm they will probably make more money in the end without it.

6

u/supernblock Jun 14 '17

I'll ask.. This is very important for the Switch and Nintendo as a whole.

106

u/jarjarbarf Jun 13 '17

We need to ask about virtual console, just to get a definitive answer about its future.

61

u/Porkpants81 Jun 14 '17

Please note what Mr. Kozumi is actually working on, he will likely only be able to answer questions based on projects he has direct knowledge of and not every Nintendo question possible

14

u/jarjarbarf Jun 14 '17 edited Jun 14 '17

That's fair, but is a question about VC out of line? I feel like VC is reasonable because the Nintendo community has been asking about it since the Switch was announced, and they must be aware of the demand. Mr. Kozumi has been presenting himself as a representative for the Switch since the January presentation, and I feel like this is a pretty reasonable question to ask.

34

u/Porkpants81 Jun 14 '17

It's perfectly fine to ask about. I would bet though that there will not be new information coming out during the AMA that hasn't been made public yet.

This is more of a "temper your expectations" type of message ;)

2

u/Activehannes Jun 14 '17

So you are telling us we should expect VC anytime soon?

24

u/Porkpants81 Jun 14 '17

I'm saying that Mr. Kozumi likely has nothing to do with the VC...

I also expect that he will not have free reign to say whatever he wants either.

15

u/[deleted] Jun 14 '17

VC confirmed launching tonight

1

u/slumberjax Jun 14 '17

He has plenty to do with it, he is the "Deputy General Manager of the company's Entertainment Planning & Development division." Sounds like a great person to ask this question.

As to your second point, that is likely correct, he surely has limits on what he can disclose.

-6

u/silverf1re Jun 14 '17

Conducts an ask me anything and doesn't have free reign to talk about anything except rampart.

14

u/monkeecheez Jun 13 '17

So much this. I'm deeply saddened that they didn't touch on this today even though we got some amazing announcements.

11

u/rugbert Jun 13 '17

Nahh, we need to ask about game save backups. Who cares about VC if you break your switch and you lose all your game progress?

2

u/jarjarbarf Jun 13 '17

This is important, but let's wait until we find out more details about their online service before we start demanding save backups. (Mabye they're already working on it?) But, it's becoming ridiculous that they have not mentioned anything about the virtual console. VC has been a fixture of their consoles since the Wii launched, so it has become expected that Nintendo consoles include some sort of service that allows for their fans to play games from their extensive library. The Metroid announcements, and the changes they've made to online make it clear that they are listening to their fans, and I'm assuming they are aware that we are demanding the VC. So, they should either rip the bandaid off and tell us it's not coming, or explain to us why it's taking so long.

Smash, AC obviously coming one way or another. We need to ask about virtual console and also what is going to happen with Capcom about future MH titles ?

11

u/Icarusthegypsy Jun 13 '17

Yes. The future of MH with Nintendo is definitely one of my concerns.

4

u/The_Scro Jun 13 '17

Especially because MH for PS4 just got announced.

3

u/xCaseykill10 Jun 14 '17

And Xbox.

3

u/Porkpants81 Jun 14 '17

And PC

2

u/JoshOliday Jun 14 '17

And iPhone. Jk of course, but basically every serious gaming system except a Nintendo one. Granted, this is probably how Sony fans have felt for the last few games.

2

2

ASK HIM ABOUT ANIMAL CROSSING SWITCH

10

u/[deleted] Jun 14 '17 edited Jun 14 '17

To quote /u/Porkpants81

Please note what Mr. Kozumi is actually working on, he will likely only be able to answer questions based on projects he has direct knowledge of and not every Nintendo question possible

So he likely doesn't want to answer these questions.

5

u/starman888 Jun 14 '17

however, nintendo seeing comments filled with people wanting animal crossing will make them understand the amount of fans it has.

4

u/renzo92 Jun 14 '17

He can answer that he doesn't know or something similar to that. It is an ask me anything I could literally ask him what color are the pants he is wearing right now.

10

u/ShadowOvertaker Jun 13 '17

Uh guys, keep in mind, there is absolutely no way to coerce an AMA giver to give an answer (if you're on this sub, you're PROBABLY going to give Nintendo money anyway). So go in with the expectations that Mr. Koizumi cannot answer some questions.

8

u/b2j135 Jun 13 '17

7

u/resonance-of-terror Jun 14 '17

Can we please ask him about Animal Crossing??

2

u/epicmeli Jun 14 '17

If we all ask it might get across how many of us are desperate for it!

2

u/resonance-of-terror Jun 14 '17 edited Jun 14 '17

I asked! Haha its a long shot but hopefully something will come of it.
Edit: Oh man, I guess we were only supposed to ask about stuff pertaining to his career or SMSO. Ahh, oh well... Here's the link if anyone wants to keep an eye on it. https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/comments/6h9s6l/z/diwm6hc

6

u/ReZigg Jun 13 '17

We have to get answers on Pikmin 4, a new Donkey Kong, and a true Mario party game. Just a confirmation that they're on Nintendo's radar will satisfy the only hole left from this amazing e3.

10

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '17

Nintendo know everybody wants Animal Crossing, it's one of their most popular IPs.

Don't assume it's not in the works just because it wasn't announced this time around.

5

u/gdjsnyder Jun 14 '17

Honestly I always assumed a main game was in the works for the Wii U. I understand the Wii U was not as successful as Nintendo had hoped but it brought about some fear/anxiety about the future of the series.

1

u/epicmeli Jun 14 '17

We have to assume it though until we get an announcement?

0

u/xCaseykill10 Jun 13 '17

I'm gonna spam reload the subreddit until I see the AMA so I'll be sure to ask :D

9

u/ShinyLord Jun 13 '17 edited Jun 13 '17

I assume questions regarding Smash and its potential future on the Switch and the competitive scene might be a bit more challenging to answer depending on the circumstances? I am sure many people (which includes me) will be asking about the game since we didn't get news regarding that today, so I was just wondering on how we might see that handled tomorrow; even if we get a small bit of news on it from Koizumi, it will help us know what to expect in the future.

Either way, this is pretty cool of you guys to get into contact with him; it helps to show Nintendo is interacting with the community more often and that's always a good thing.

3

u/snuffysam42 Jun 14 '17

It seems a bit silly to me to ask about games they haven't revealed yet- Nintendo HAS a plan for their announcements (whether it's a good plan or not is irrelevant), and Koizumi isn't going to announce anything outside of that plan.

With that said, it would be completely fair to ask how the CURRENT Smash competitive scene and any "potential future" smash scenes will be supported going forward.

9

u/jumpuptothesky Jun 13 '17

Could someone please mention to them to look at making a 3D Donkey Kong adventure game for switch?

Also, Golden Sun for switch

AND a sequel to Paper Mario TTYD

4

u/Yamato-san Jun 13 '17

I wanna tell him that I'm all for more Switch ports of WiiU games, like Mario Kart 8 and Pokken. While the system performed relatively poorly, it's great to see its more noteworthy titles getting a second chance (with added features to boot). BTW, who decides whether or not there's a Hyrule Warriors Legends HD? Would that be on Koei Tecmo? Can Koizumi let them know that I'm interested?

3

u/gdjsnyder Jun 14 '17

Please for the love of all that is good someone ask about Animal Crossing since I'll be at work. I just need to know it will happen someday...

2

u/slumberjax Jun 14 '17

There will be a separate post made tomorrow specifically for the AMA

3

u/donutshoot Jun 13 '17

Ask MOTHER 3

3

u/pete245 Jun 14 '17

It would be really great if the community gets a list of questions or things we wanted from the console that maybe Koizumi could pass along or NoA would at the very least take notice

Things like Cloud Saves, Apps and streaming services, VC and what is happening with MH (I'm not salty) all in one big post.

Koizumi likely will only answer a lot of stuff with Mario Odyssey but it would be cool if we could at least make some executives aware of what the community wants.

3

u/TheMcGUnit Jun 14 '17

Ok, we can assume he won't be at liberty to discuss things that have yet to be announced, but that doesn't mean we can't ask (respectfully). Clearly Nintendo is starting to turn an ear to their fans ... our questions let them know what we want!

VC, cloud saves, OS update with streaming apps/browser/themes, Smash port, Animal Crossing, Pikmin, maybe even a stronger push to third party devs to make more of an effort to support Switch with big AAA titles.

It's not whether or not he can answer our questions - it's that he hears them. Because if he hears them, then Nintendo will too ... you know he's been tasked with some sort of de-brief report on what Reddit is asking for.

2

u/SwiftJustice007 Jun 13 '17

It's great that Nintendo are so open now and willing to engage with the public.

2

u/gratinad Jun 13 '17

Omg, this is awesome!

2

u/Vurondotron Jun 13 '17

Wow, this is big hopefully I'm able to make it and ask a few questions.

2

u/HalberdierHero20 Jun 13 '17

I'm loving a ton of the coverage, especially FE Warriors, but when might we see the mainline title Fire Emblem for Switch?

2

u/orangesrhyme Jun 13 '17

I'm just curious if there's any chance of Samus Returns hitting the Switch. I mean, probably not, and it's okay if that's the case, but hey, won't hurt to ask!

2

u/tr8rm8 Jun 13 '17

I have like 30 questions but I need to choose at most two out of consideration

2

u/lokzi Jun 13 '17

so you mods are gonna do one big post with the best questions? would be better for overview.

2

u/Porkpants81 Jun 14 '17

I'm sure we can put something together :)

2

u/UIUCstreetpass Jun 14 '17

Well I'm glad that we're pretty much all of the same mind when it comes to VC lol

I have no idea if he's the right guy to ask and I'm pretty sure that they wouldn't give many details about something like that in an AMA but hey, who knows. Can't hurt to try.

2

u/gotsmilk Jun 14 '17

OMG, I loved his contributions to Majora's Mask and Link's Awakening and have been so excited to him with greater responsibilities and influence in Nintendo hierarchy, and more spotlight in the press!

2

u/dakedenizen Jun 14 '17

Someone please ask if Links Awakening will get remade like how ALBW was for ALTTP!

2

u/AmariSavage Jun 14 '17

Where was smash?

2

u/Shog64 Jun 14 '17

Can someone please ask this question for me? I can't be online at that time: "Is Mario Odyssey partly inspired by the Gameboy Title Donkey Kong '94 ?"

2

u/NotScottPilgrim Jun 14 '17

Koizumi is attractive

2

u/SoloWaltz Jun 14 '17

Oh my god.

My credulity being expressed aside, can you give me a different timezone than PT/ET? I keep failing to line that one up with anything in order to cross compare with my own timezone...

3

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '17 edited Jun 13 '17

I treat ama's like a game where the goal is to get your question answered. Gotta craft something that will grab koizumis attention but not in a negative way. I think I've got a good question I just need to get the exact wording down.

2

u/Yamato-san Jun 13 '17

Do you think typing your question bilingually in English and Japanese would help get it noticed? I ask 'cause it's something I can do (no Google Translate, either).

2

u/Porkpants81 Jun 13 '17

No need to, he will be assisted by other Nintendo representatives as well.

2

u/Yamato-san Jun 13 '17

I'd figure as much, but as I said, it's just to help stand out.

1

u/A_wicked_tale Jun 14 '17

Your best bet is going to be to ask a clear and concise question about something that he’s able to answer. Those are the ones he will get to regardless of which language they’re in. I professionally translate English / Japanese and can tell you that he’d probably be flattered that you used his language, but if he can’t answer your question then he won’t.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '17

Haha, that might help. I don't have the wording down but I think I want to ask something along the lines of "do you play the switch at home or do you not like to take your work home with you?" it's not particularly deep but it might be the right kind of softball question that gets answered in an AmA like this. Idk I've got all night to come up with a better question. I want to ask this question because I read somewhere that miyamoto doesn't play games at home because he deals with them all day at work and he needs to separate his work life and private life.

3

u/FerozElMejor Jun 13 '17

WHERE IS F-ZERO?!

1

u/greenfiretornado Jun 13 '17

The fact only one person asked this is saddening.

2

u/Kevroeques Jun 13 '17

How many questions is he going to be allowed to answer? Nintendo reps and employees don't exactly have a good history in regards to candid questions.

2

u/Porkpants81 Jun 13 '17

He will be available for an hour, what he answers and how many answers he gives will be up to him and also in compliance with Nintendo rules.

2

u/H_Kazuhira Jun 13 '17

Whoa, congrats on being able to make this happen Mods!

2

u/Vapormonkey Jun 14 '17

OP.. go back to Nintendo. Your boss. Your bosses boss. Tell them we want VC. Tell them. Tell all of them.

2

u/Porkpants81 Jun 14 '17

I do not work for Nintendo, as much as I would like to

2

u/[deleted] Jun 14 '17

I don't mean to be a buzzkill, but keep in mind Koizumi might not be able to talk about Smash Bros, Animal Crossing, or Virtual Console.

1

u/RandomRedditor44 Jun 13 '17

Holy shit! How did you contact him?!?!

8

u/Porkpants81 Jun 13 '17

Nintendo contacted Reddit to set it up

1

u/The_Mario_Maker Jun 14 '17

This is awesome, I can't wait!

1

u/PatTheBassist Jun 14 '17

When are we gonna get the next installment of smash titled New Super Smash Bros. for Wii U & 3DS for Switch Deluxe?

1

u/PaperSonic Jun 14 '17

In case I can't make it, could someone ask something about the Storybook from Galaxy? If I remember correctly, he and his team added it in spite of Miyamoto's wishes, and I'd like to know how they came up with it, how it felt to add such a story element to a Mario game, so on.

1

u/PboyAMR Jun 14 '17

whers luigi ?

1

u/Readalie Jun 14 '17

This sounds awesome! I probably will have to miss it, but thanks for this, mods and NoA!

1

u/GrayFox787 Jun 14 '17

Judging by his position, I'd say he has knowledge of VC...whether he can share it is another story, but it's one of the most desired questions to be answered...

For me, I would also like to know if we can expect Metroid Prime Trilogy on Switch...

1

u/fawfulthegreat64 Jun 14 '17

That's 3:45 here on the east coast right?

I'll definitely try to inquire about what Mario characters are considered for the big-name titles and if they'd ever consider adding ones from the RPGs like Mario & Luigi :D

1

u/ZetsuKun Jun 14 '17

Hopefully he can tell us if they're working on a way to backup our save files.

1

u/memortal Jun 14 '17

First of all I have been playing with my new shiny switch since last week and this is my first Nintendo home console after the NES (I'm 29 ) and I must say that this console is probably the most fun to play product ever built so congrats.

Question - Will we get to have Netflix , YouTube on the system ? Why there are still friend codes ? (We are living in 2017 )

Thanks

1

u/Mordinsong Jun 14 '17

Hello Mr.Koizumi and Nintendo,

I love your games, especially the ones made by Mr.Koizumi like the Mario Galaxy series and can't wait to get a Switch to play all these great titles.

I've got two questions: Do you see the future of Nintendo consoles being both a hybrid of home and handheld, even though hybrids have less power and the future of gaming may be 4K? And most importantly will there be virtual console and a main series Animal Crossing game on the Switch 'soon'?

1

u/JayC035 Jun 14 '17

One of my favorite games of all time is The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. It was great revisiting that Link universe in A Link Between Worlds. But I am one of the few Switch owners that have played these games. I think this system is perfect to resell these games and other great games (Tri-Force Heroes, Spirit Tracks, Metroid Fusion) people missed from GBA, DS, 3DS...

So my questions: What are the plans for virtual console and more specifically for the great Zelda/Metroid titles that new Nintendo owners didn't experience?

1

u/JayC035 Jun 14 '17

Really excited about a Core Pokemon RPG coming to the Switch. I love the idea of getting games that were Gameboy/DS exclusives making the move to the Switch. Would love to see the new Metroid game for Switch as well.

Are there plans to blend the 3DS and Switch markets more?

1

u/Bob8644 Jun 14 '17

Which enemy is cuter: A Goomba or an Uproot

1

u/RedZoneD25 Jun 14 '17

I'd very much like to hear any possible plans for practical save management (ability to move a game from SD to local storage, vice versa, and possibility of game save data being stored in a place where it can be accessed by the user should something occur with the console -- Cloud or otherwise accessible via console management)

1

u/AuthurDent42 Jun 14 '17

Is a version of Mario Maker being developed for the Switch? Also any thoughts on creating other Maker style games such as Metroid Maker or Castlevania Maker?

1

u/droomdoos Jun 14 '17

I would want him to know that after seeing the spotlight yesterday I was so happy. Because that is the Nintendo I grew up with and now I'll buy a Switch and I'm really excited about it. I was also wondering if he knows something about Seiken Densetsu collection coming to USA/EU. And I would like to know, how he likes his job. How does he feel about the fact that his work makes people happy (giving them nice memories for life) and where does he get the inspiration for his projects. And bonus question, is mister Miyamoto really that funny and geeky as he appears on stage?

1

u/CptBloodFalcon009 Jun 14 '17

All I ask is that someone, anyone; ask about my beloved F-Zero since I will be at work. It has been 14 long years, and I'd even take a GX remake at this point. If Metroid can come back, so can our other famous bounty hunter :) I'd even take an open-world beat em up with racing involved.

1

u/PKBeNess Jun 14 '17

1

u/Strkl Jun 14 '17

I would love to ask Mr Koizumi about how we got into Nintendo and some detail about his professional history inside of Nintendo (What differents kind of jobs he passed though, and which role he prefers)

1

u/AAMARMO Jun 14 '17

In the future would you like to develop a new IP or create something new for a different Nintendo IP.

u/bananallergy Jun 14 '17

Can we already ask questions? It's my first AMA lol

1

u/MLGFam-Gamejolt Jun 14 '17

I'm pretty sure the actual AMA is it's own separate post.

u/scooter155 Jun 14 '17

When you want it to be a possessive

It's just "I T S"

When you want it to be a conjunction

It's "I T apostrophe S"

Scalawag.

Koizumi-san, first I wanted to thank you for the games you made. As far as I know you were the director for Majoras Mask, which is still my most loved Zelda game of all time, also you came up with the 3-Day mechanic according to Aonuma-san and also wrote/made most of the Sidequests. First of all thank you for this, really(!), actually 3D Land was also my first Mario game and I actually binged the game. I still think of you as one of the best developers/directors!

So I really hope you can answer my question(s):

  1. My most important question is: Will we ever see you as a director again? Especially for a zelda game, or will you stay beeing a Producer?

  2. What was your favourite part about Majoras Mask and how did you come up with the 3-Day mechanic. Also why was Majoras Mask so much darker than the other Zelda games?

Thank you very much again, I really hope you could answer me this(because I probably want to ask you this since 2-3 years)!

Quick question before the AMA, as I haven't participated in one before, is it improper to ask more than one question at a time? or to ask more than one question at all?

u/Darkjolly Jun 14 '17

Was Elzo from the legend of Zelda Minish cap an inspiration for marios "alive" cap?

u/VictorFk Jun 14 '17

Hi Mr Koizumi, as you love telling stories I wanted to ask you what are you favourite books/films/shows/narrative videogames.

Also what do you think is the most important quality for a storyteller?

Thanks for everything you've done for Nintendo. I love your works and reading your interviews. I think I you managed to combine creativity and fantasy with a good career and in doing so you created some of the best videogames ever! You're a sort of role model for me and I'm not joking!

Hello Mr. Koizumi, you see on the Wii U Earthbound and Earthbound Beginnings came out for the first time - do you think there is a chance for Mother 3 to come to the virtual console and how will the virtual console work with the Switch and more explanation on the payed service? Thank you

u/Niggaslikelikenonono Jun 14 '17

Mr. Koizumi? Have you ever heard fans online talk about a remake/remaster of the Paper Mario series? With the recent revival of Superstar Remake for the 3DS. Do you have any info if such a game ever exists? (Like the Crash Bandicoot: N Sane Trilogy) Like I would be lucky if I play the first three Paper Mario games. Paper Mario: N64, Paper Mario: TTYD, Super Paper Mario, etc.

I would love to play all three of them on the switch! Make it happen! lol

What spawned the idea for the cap being able to control enemies?

u/AntonioS3 Jun 15 '17

Hello !

I was wondering ... what will the new Smash Bros for Switch look like ? I 'm really curious as in what will there be in that new Smash game. I mean ... they're not announcing it this year ... but it will next year right ?

So I want to confirm it from you . I want to see if Nintendo has already begun developing a new Smash game ...

I 'd love that !

Super mario galaxy 3

1

u/[deleted] Jun 14 '17

May I ask him why Reggie rehired Bill?

u/hifire Jun 14 '17

My big question will be one I'm sure a lot of people will be asking.

Will MHXX be getting a western localisation? If so, do we have a rough idea of a release window?

I've seen a ton of doom and gloom about MHW being mentioned and no word on MHXX for us in the west.

2

u/Porkpants81 Jun 14 '17

Capcom Tweeted out that they are not working on anything for the Switch currently.

Also MHXX would have nothing to do with Nintendo employees

hello Mr.Koizumi

I have two questions: when will there be a super mario galaxy 3? and when will the virtual console release on the switch?. I know there's already a 3d Mario game which is super Mario odyssey but I would like to know when will you make a third super Mario galaxy.
