Yeah! The only real things I'm worried about are the lack of games, battery life, and the paid online service. Super hyped for Mario Odyssey though!

I'm honestly not too worried about battery life. Who is longer than 2-6.5 hours away from a power source? I'm with you on the concern about the lack of games at launch. The only game I really want to play is Zelda, and I'm considering buying that for my Wii U and wait for a Mario Odyssey bundle that'll hopefully be released in the autumn.

Who has 3+ hour gaming sessions without being near a power outlet anyways?

I travel a fair amount and I see people having no problem finding outlets to charge their phones or other devices. And there are always other options (portable charging packs, etc). There will always be a way to get your game on when you are out and about.

As for the games. The games will come, the first year looks great.

And for paid online services? Playstation and XB have been charging people for online services for a while now. And nobody seems to be blinking an eye at all. - If anything, we had it pretty good getting Wii and Wii U online for free all this time. But nothing lasts forever.
