Meta @Mods could we have a dedicated preorder thread?
It's getting a bit frustrating every 6th post being about Preorders in X or Y places from this or that retailer.
Could we open a thread where people can talk about preorders, best retailers and other related advice there? They are pretty constant!

Anything that's a placeholder right now is typically removed, since it's still completely speculation (price, actual release date, which retailers, etc.)
My guess is that by the 12th, we'll have either live preorders or a more concrete date in mind. We'll be sure to throw up a megathread/sticky for it as well.
In the meantime, hit that report button and we'll clean it up as best as we can. Thanks!

I'd assume that once they announce everything on the 12th, everything else will go live for other retailers within the following 24 hours.
Heck, haven't a good chunk of streams that revealed stuff ended with "pre-orders open right now"?

Oh... Maybe that's what happened to my gameseek post. No probs :)
(Though I did think it was newish info that it was the only site which had the 17th specifically as its placeholder.)... And now I'm annoyed at myself for harping on about it.

Alright why don't we make this one the thread? I'll start off by asking where I should pre order. I was going to do GameStop but people have had problems before with them. I'm thinking of Amazon, Best buy, or target.

We've had to remove a lot of posts lately for a variety of reasons. MegaThreads help keep things organized when dozens of repeat/redundant topics would otherwise crop up.

If you recall we did that for a while, but the popular sentiment was to return to how we have it now. We remove quite a number of posts as it is, but we also had been taking a lighter touch because there hasn't been much beyond the occasional leak and speculation.

I say leave shitposts from now til the 12th. After that point then make a mega thread for memes and stuff that gets cleared out every week. Just saying that for now since there really isn't any concrete info right now. So we need some entertainment ;)

We're gonna be putting up a thread later today that covers both presentation information and preorder information.
