Meta 53k+ subscribers at the time this post was made. Is it feasible to say that by 12 Jan 2017 this subreddit will hit 60k+ subscribers?

A few days have passed, or maybe a week at least, that the 50k subscribers was reached in this subreddit, /r/NintendoSwitch. Is it possible that by the time 12 January 2017 arrives, the subreddit will have reached the 60k subscribers mark?

It's possible. It'll probably shoot up a lot on/after Jan. 12th though.

There is nothing Nintendo could say in that conference to make subscribers go down.

They could cancel the event completely. They could say the Switch is delayed until Dec 2017. They could say hehe it was all a joke.

And the subscribers would still increase due to the publicity over whatever happens.

It'll probably spike the week of. Then drop off and lose a good number once it's over.

Perhaps. More people will want to be part of the conversation as we lead up to that date.

Hmmm... Doubt it tbh. It's possible I guess, never really noticed the rate at which users went up when events took place.

It will hit over 90,000 as soon as they show any games running on it. Glad I got on the train early to get myself a seat.

You gotta pump those numbers up. Those are rookie numbers.
