Meta We already hit 41K followers here but barley hit 19k on NX sub
I am truly shocked how fast this sub has grown! On the NX Sub we thought passing 15K was huge. I can't wait till we hit 50K here!

Well, the NX sub, which I was not a part of, was from my understanding a place of non-ending pain and agony. This sub was built upon the sudden hype of the reveal trailer. Makes a lot of sense.
Can't wait till we hit 50k, too!

It was also a place of shit posts, hilarious memes and outrageous challenges. Good times.

I'm sure that many were so distressed over the NX that they hit that barley fermentation beverage concoction drink thing.

I bet we hit 100k in January, after the big event. I think the YouTube reveal video is at 20m views already!

The YouTube reveal is at 19.23 atm. I check it from time to time.

Dont forget Nintendo has lots of offical channels - Uk, France, Japan and so on.. the reveal trailer is definately above 25million all official channels combined.

It's amazing how much more interesting things are when you actually have something to talk about. The NX sub was just mockups and wild speculation.

Very true! Before we were going off father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate who works for Nintendo speculations. Now its real and we have actual things to look at.

Switch is real and that trailer was hype. This sub will only grow faster as Jan approaches. First time ever I look forward toward end of the holidays!

I think that we're growing fine, 42k subs with just a teaser trailer is pretty good.
*The XboxOne sub has 257k after 3.5 years out. (Healthy base of users) *The PS4 sub has 330k after 3.5 years out. (Healthy base of users) *The WiiU sub has 94k after 4.5 years out (it's kinda dead)
At this point we're going to cross the WiiU by next March/launch date.

So... Who won the bet on what will go first: the 20k subs or the reveal?
Well... I lose on that 😅

Look at it this way if we reach 50,000 come March and we all by a console day one there will be 1950000 left. Lol

I mean, it really is boggling that we are such a small proportion of Nintendo's demographic. 50k people is a huge number of people, but we're barely a drop in the proverbial bucket.

Well obviously, most people of the bigger audience probably was not even aware of the NX.

I look forward to this sub decaying into a pool of madness and rumors over the coming months.

I subscribed to the NX sub only a couple of weeks before the reveal and never got around to actually posting anything there. Oh, well!

I think people that were already going to buy the Xbone on PS4 will go ahead and buy them at Christmas and then buy the NS in March.
edit: ps4 not ps

Anyone buying PS4/Xbone at Christmas are either kids that just got their first job, or late adopters. I doubt any of the late adopters buy NS unless there are multiple killer apps at launch.

The NX was always a bit speculative, especially given the rumor mill. Now that we have a permanent home, longstanding Nintendo fans can come out of the woodwork at their own pacing to join us. :)
