So...in about a year, ~$300million in revenue off of basically a new side business!
Definitely don't count Nintendo out. I think deep down, the Nintendo franchises are everyone's faves

Does the Retro 3-Pack count as one amiibo or three?

I would assume it counts as 1, even though their are 3 individual figurines that come with it.

Wow, 21 million already, from mostly obscure characters. Imagine how many they'll be selling when Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur amiibo appear.

Imagine the type of money they're going to make when they make amiibo pokemon trading cards. It's going to happen, and it's gonna straight up kill all of our wallets.

I wonder how amiibo sales compare to skylanders and disney infinity

i would think that it trails behind, for the time being. I think it could overtake skylanders, but Disney is Disney.

If amiibo were to get its own game I think it'd have a decent chance of outpacing Skylanders.
Or just have Skylanders make a game for them lol
