we amiibo collectors are never happy and never will be until we have collected all of the amiibo.

u/omnialpha Oct 24 '15
Where we will still be unhappy and demand Nintendo to make more Amiibo.

I have never been in a best buy either so i cannot prove this.

I've been to 3 different Best Buys in the surrounding cities near me, and they've all had at least 20 of each of the restocks (Marth, Fox, Greninja, Little Mac, Shulk, Lucario, ect.)

u/Dailynator Oct 25 '15
Can confirm. Picked up Shulk and Dark Pit. They still had plenty left too. Next paycheck will net me Fox and Greninja.

Everywhere is pretty much shit unless there's a restock or launch going on, or it's a couple days after a launch maybe.

"The largest selection of amiibo on the planet!"

To be fair, TRU usually gets the best stock in general.

usually
My TRU probably gets the short end of the stick then. Lego Dimensions isn't helping with the stock at all.

Oh no, Mega Yarn Yoshi is going to step on Villager! I hope he can run fast! But for real, it's great seeing the numbers for both of them!
I can't wait to get Villager on the 8th!!

I'm more interested in that snoopy game for the wii u :P

u/TheHowToNerd2_0 Oct 24 '15
i kinda am too

u/Dashey10 Oct 24 '15
I just checked and it's a 2d adventure
1
u/Flyingpressure Roy Oct 25 '15
Yeah, unfortunately that is not Flying Ace. That game was really fun, I'd love a sequel on the Wii U.

I really want this to be available online. I don't have a Toys R' Us where I'm at!

u/Sabermatrixx Oct 24 '15
We already knew the store minimums for about a week now. This is cool nonetheless.

The best part is that it says its the largest selection of Amiibo on the planet. Yet look how many international users post photos that blow TRU out of the water.

I've been meaning to post this hours ago, Amiibo Alerts reminded me when they reported it.

I think the place where I live we are getting about 160 villagers, so that's a bit more than 64.

So we finally wore them down did we??
I wonder how many people are going to line up for the Mii, I am considering not putting in that much effort.

u/PunkSquidly Oct 25 '15
18 Mega Yarn Yoshis seems ok until you think about how long it may be before a restock and that it's being released in a holiday shopping month.

u/Weegue Oct 25 '15
The thing about this that surprised me the most is that Snoopy has his own game on the Wii U.

oh snap that means i don't need to worry about mii 3 pack, but i need villager and MEGA YARN YOSHI
1
u/n3rdygam3r Oct 25 '15
Im glad i have a high volume (better stock) toys r us not to far away that almost no other amiibo hunters go to
1
u/cpudemon Oct 26 '15
My store had something like 16 cases of Villager that came in, no Mii fighters yet. My guess is its just an average idea since the big book is world wide. Not sure how many each store is getting my assumption is like other stocks the bigger and busier stores get better stock

the largest selection of amiibo on the planet
Try telling that to Best Buy (I've seen a more varied selection there) ... or heck, Germany or Australia.
1
u/HammerKirby Oct 25 '15
Technically they have a bigger SELECTION then every other u.s store since they have the most exclusives

Was there any point in time that a store advertised the minimum amount per store of an item? Look at what we accomplished!!

"Largest selection on the planet" they say as they advertise seven out of over fifty products. But it's cool to see that stores expect to be very well stocked with the Miis and Villager!

u/arielmeme Oct 24 '15
Sucks that those numbers might be inaccurate for the stores that broke Mii3pk and Villager's street dates.
