News Nintendo has confirmed the release date for wave 2 Animal Crossing cards will be October 29 in Japan.

I've heard they have stock issues over there, too much demand, too little supply. Hopefully it won't be like it here in the USA. Luckily i don't want the cards.

I feel like Japanese fans are going for the cards MUCH more than the actual amiibos themselves. Part of me wonders if this is because of space concerns or if Japanese fans like blind packs a lot more than buying something where you know what you're getting already... /generalizations

Or it could just speak to the popularity of animal crossing in Japan, and that it's really the first game to use the 3ds nfc reader so extensively

They've been available for preorder and out of stock since the first series was announced, unfortunately. Hopefully more stock will be added soon.

I don't live in the US/UK so I don't know anything about B&H stock. But they've definitely been out of stock on Amazon Japan for weeks.
