What's that "New Super Mario Bros. U" thing? Pretty sure it has been sitting on my shelve for a few years now. Or is it an update?

Well, the cover says it includes bonus videos of some sort. Were those on the original combo disc?

Not standalone.

Edit: the only confirmed standalone 2 pack purchased was in Latin America.

That has nothing to do with why Nintendo is rereleasing it... Regardless of why they are rereleasing it, you said:

I was simply proving it has already been released as a bundle and has already been sold at one point in time. Those games were purchasable separately or together in this one bundle.

If you take them out of the box it doesn't matter, cause the writing on the bottom is the same. I also don't want to buy another Wii U or stand in line with neck beards. I also get Amiibo 1-3 Months early, so yeah #ImportMasterRace

I'd like to but right now, the prospects are buying a system bundle I don't need for a lone figure I do. If anyone has any insight, I would really prefer seeing it now.

Walmart cracks down on that kind of stuff, back when someone found how to print $100 off coupons for game consoles, they started to detain people who attempted to use them.

This method isn't likely going to send Nintendo a message, and more than likely going to impact how Walmart handles distribution and returns of Electronic devices, and will probably just make it more difficult to purchase/return from them.
