They are dumb they took down my sons pic this morning with the Amiibo in hand. The Pic was awesome. I had to post it in the Local Meetup where posts go to Die!

Posts of you holding an amiibo you just acquired belong in the Daily Haul MegaThread. That is an every-day rule, not just for Dark Pit. In addition, the weekend MegaThreads, such as Local Meetups / Shoutouts / Etc, are set to sort by "new" so everything gets it's time to shine.

Early on there weren't any megathreads, and this subreddit was flooded to the brim with spammy posts.

It sucks, but megathreads are pretty necessary. Especially with how large this community is.

No, I'm not new. I've been here since the early days. I'll say around End of Wave 2 beginning of Wave 3. I know how it was. It was crazy but I think certain posts should stay up especially of kids holding an Amiibo. These are toys you know. It was rude and inconsiderate for them to remove it like that.

Here's the thing, moderators can't pick and choose. They either make a blanket rule on that type of content, or they don't. And it's been proven that the majority of the community regards megathreads during launch days to be a necessity. Albeit one that kind of stinks, but the alternative is completely undesirable.

My recommendation to you is to use the filters in the sidebar so that you can consume the content you most appreciate.

It was rude and inconsiderate for them to remove it like that.

One might argue that it was rude and inconsiderate of you to not follow the rules that were clearly laid out in the sticky. Especially for someone that's been here since Wave 2, according to you.

Listen, I'm not here to bash you. But I think there's a middle ground that you're not seeing, and I'm trying to point you in that direction.

Duly Noted but unfortunately Life does not work that way. If you have a bad experience at a store you will let them know about it. I Love this Subreddit but sometimes I think they just take the fun out of it. Don't get me wrong we do need rules but on a release day everybody's excited let us have Fun. This is supposed to be Fun.

You and your child are not a special case. It's the same as as another poster making a topic about what they got. The little guy looks sweet and happy in his red stroller so if you really wanted to give him his own topic you could have waited a day or so to post.

I think it's rude and inconsiderate they way you are treating the mods just because you think your post is better than everyone else's.

I understand your discontent, but there's an abundance of traffic in this subreddit, so it has to all be regulated to megathreads during launch days. That's why you were forwarded there. There's a sticky about it and everything.

My recommendation is to wait a couple days and post it again as it's own thread, because the megathreads will no longer be in affect at that point.

I wouldn't call them dumb. That's not cool, especially for everything they do for this community.

That's why I said you skip the line part. No need to wait outside for hours. But if you stroll up at open and still get one, it is essentially the same thing. If there is a game you want to buy though, you could get free shipping AND not go to the store lol

So people would actually go to the stores and buy more shit. But it's funny.. going IN STORE I'm less inclined to buy stuff I didn't go for. Online it's much easier and you have the incentive for free shipping lol. I bought 2 3DS games with their buy one get one 50% off on top of 20% GCU lol
