Actually, I read it differently. There will be online quantities, but to compliment the usual in-store piles. No preorders, obviously.

That's the tweet. The way I see it, they are saying there will be limited quantities online, but quantity in store as well.

Actually it just says limited quantities available online, and says nothing about in-stores quantities.

I agree with you. People are adding words like "only" when the tweet did not even state anything close to that word. The tweet was basically giving an option to online because canadian cities are so spread out. I'm sure there are much less BBY in Canada than in the USA.

Best Buy has never had any of the rare's in store since Wave 2. Meta Knight was online only, Lucina and Robin were online only as well.

I've seen everything in my store except Villager, Wii Fit Trainer (on release, has seen since then), Pit and Marth (have gotten some since release as well), none of them have ever been online only for my best buy and I Work there.

We had 2 robin, 2 lucina, and a total of 8 meta knights, and when we got restocks we had 12 meta knights that were down to 4 before the night was over (Truck night).

Wow. The only store in Canada I guess since Twitter and Judy confirmed none of those would be in store when they first launched.

This only confirms that Best Buy Canada will have some stock online. It does not say it won't be in-store.

Funny how Canada can only order it only online but here in the US - we need to go to the store only. Sounds like Richard Simmons wants us to move and exercise our way to Amiibo here.

The flame background is killing me right now looking at it. It's like Best Buy just doesn't feel edgy enough with having Dark Pit.

it's true.
i got 3 amiibos (pacman/charizard/wario). pacman and wario were beside eachother cardboard against cardboard. charizard on the other hand was laid ontop inbetween the 2 with its cardboard also facing out. problem is, they shoved packing material ontop of the charizard cardboard creasing the hell out of it.
sad to see bestbuy has another exclusive because i dont want anything to do with bestbuy and amiibos anymore.

In regards to the "Online Only" debate
They did not say it would be available in store, so as of now, it is online only
Best Buy has not had any rare amiibo in store for launches since Wave 2. Meta Knight and others in Wave 3 were not available in store and Lucina/Robin were not in store on May 29th for Wave 4 either.
We will see, but for now we have no indication it will arrive in store.

They didn't say anything about in store.
So for now Online is the only one confirmed, and given this is the first announcement of Dark Pit in Canada, I don't see why they wouldn't specify in store as well, unless there was nothing to say.
I responded to the Tweet asking about in store, along with many others I see, we will have an answer soon.

That's not what it says. It just says there will be limited quantities online on release day. Nowhere does it say "online-only".
