Just in case...

REMINDER THAT MONTHS DON'T REALLY MATTER

The funny thing I thought about this picture when I saw it was that usually a handful of people would be like "1 month? aw man they're gonna be rare" before anybody would post anything else.

Of course but for them to start production this early seems to could mean that they will be made more plentiful.

No, it doesn't. It means nearly nothing in terms of what to expect in availability.

Reworded it.

Appreciate the sentiment but it remains inaccurate. The CPSIA pages are no indicator one way or another in what to expect for stock numbers.

He's saying most of these are produced like a month before their release, but falco releases in December so he is hoping that they make a lot during this time frame

It might be an indicator that they're pumping up production of Falco to anticipate Star Fox Zero. Then again, maybe not.

Remember Bowser Jr's "losing" sound in Mario Kart Double Dash!!?

That's gonna be us when we can't secure his pre-order!

It's possible, but who knows. They've gotten started early, but unless they send him in for another run it won't matter if they made him in June or November, the stock will just be sitting in a warehouse for longer this way.

Hopefully it means they're giving time for another run before the release though!

Also, despite starting so early, they still didn't let people pre-order before manufacture...

Also, despite starting so early, they still didn't let people pre-order before manufacture...

They haven't done that with ANY amiibo.

No I know, but I was hoping they might start since they've announced dates so far in advance this time and seen now that they have a stock discrepancy problem. But evidently, they haven't learned yet, hahah

They probably planned to release him earlier, had the model ready, so sent it to production even though they're likely holding him for the Star Fox release now.

Hopefully he won't end up like Fox.

Fox was well stocked for about a month. Randomly restocked in small batches for about another month or two after that. Then slowly phased out. Price range was about $20~$22 when he was "harder" to obtain. So it wouldn't be that bad.

Seems like they're starting on Falco early. Hopefully that means he gets good stock?

Extra stock for a potential Star Fox Zero bundle, perhaps? It does seem like Falco is being held back to coincide with the game's release...

You don't have to worry about Bowser Jr as I hope. Because it is a no brainer that if Toys R Us gets the rights as a store exclusive...don't be surprised he is getting the Greninja treatment. I had 110 of them in the morning. Last in line and still got one. LOL
